Founders
Jim Rose: Co-founder and CEO
Prior to co-founding MobShop, Jim was a director with MSI
Consulting Group (a WPP Group company), a marketing/business development
consultancy focused on the technology and communications markets.
At MSI, Jim created and managed marketing and business development
strategies for blue chip technology vendors in the software and
small business markets, including Cisco, Oracle, Baan, Intel,
GTE and WRQ, as well as Silicon Valley start-ups like Mango, Live
Picture, Pandesic, and Technology Solutions Network. Prior to
working with MSI, Jim was a consultant with Xerox China Ltd. in
Hong Kong and Beijing. Jim holds a BA with honors from Duke University.
Salim Teja:
Co-founder and Vice President of Corporate Development
Prior to co-founding MobShop, Salim was director of strategic
consulting for CYBERplex Interactive Media, an Internet professional
services firm. Salim secured and managed such F500 clients as
Sprint and Boston Consulting Group, leading all evaluation and
implementation teams of company-wide e-commerce and portal strategy
initiatives. Prior to CYBERplex, Salim was a consultant with MSI
Consulting Group (a WPP Group company), where he advised senior
executives of top-tier technology vendors in the software and
small business markets on marketing and business development strategies.
Before working with MSI, Salim was a business analyst with IBM.
Salim is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business, University
of Western Ontario.
Jonathan Ehrlich: Co-founder and Vice
President
Prior to co-founding MobShop, Jonathan was the manager of
business development for CYBERplex Interactive Media, an Internet
professional services firm, where he played a significant role
in growing the company from eleven employees to over 160. As a
member of the strategic consulting team, Jonathan was one of two
principals who created, funded, and managed bigtree.com, a San
Francisco-based e-commerce start-up. He also secured and managed
the Chapters GLOBE.com account. Jonathan spent several years at
MacLaren:McCann advertising. He holds an MBA from the Richard
Ivey School of Business and a BA in Political Science from the
University of Western Ontario.
Executive Team
Thomas Kudrycki: Vice
President of Technology Tom brings more than fifteen years of
experience in commercial software design and development to MobShop.
Most recently, he served as vice president of engineering at
Chemdex, a leading provider of business-to-business e-commerce
solutions for the life sciences industry. Prior to that, he served
as a vice president of content technology at CNET, Inc., where he
was charged with building all of CNET's Web properties as well as
all content management tools and the content infrastructure. Tom
also spent seven years at Bell Laboratories, where he managed and
developed complex software systems for AT&T's data
network. Kathy Jacobelli: Vice President of Business
Development Prior to joining MobShop, Kathy co-founded
Tephra, a next-generation Internet shopbot company. Kathy's sales
background includes building strategic sales organizations at
Junglee, ROLM, Stratacom and Cascade Communications. Kathy earned a
B.A. in Business Administration at the University of Dayton,
Ohio. Marcus Rodermann: Vice President of
International Business Development Prior to joining MobShop,
Marcus was part of the core team at Bertelsmann AG that initiated
the group's Internet activities, which included joint ventures in
the European marketplace with such leading Internet portals as AOL
and Lycos. He then moved to the Bertelsmann consumer club division
to lead special interest clubs and e-commerce activities. Marcus
holds a BA in Business Administration and Economics from the
University of Trier (Germany), an MBA from Clark University and a
Ph.D. in management from the University of Trier.
