MobileWise Chipsets Description
MobileWise is a fabless semiconductor company providing Wire-Free Electric Power capabilities to mobile devices. The company sells its Wire-Free-Electricity enabling chipsets to leading mobile, networking and power accessories OEM and aftermarket manufacturers.

MobileWise Chipset

MobileWise technology includes two chipsets that facilitate the integration of MobileWise technology in mobile devices and the customized of Wire-free Electricity Bases.

The Device Adapter chipset: This chipset is based on MobileWise MWA2206-M or MWA2209-M -- the Adapter Controller IC's. The Adapter Controller, a small IC, resides inside (or - as an aftermarket accessory - externally integrates into) the mobile device. It enables the device to draw power from the Wire-Free Electricity Base, and for the latter to elegantly manage power delivery into the mobile device. To fit into mobile devices or rechargeable batteries, Adapter Controllers have a very small footprint (a few mm).

The Wire-free Electricity Base chipset: The Wire-free Electricity Base chipset includes MobileWise MWS3204-M and MWS3209-M Base Controllers and MWS3230-P Contact Controller IC's. The Base and Contact controller ICs are embedded inside the Wire-Free Electricity Base. Together, they provide intelligent power management to MobileWise-enabled devices placed anywhere on the Base's flat surface.

MobileWise now avails the chipsets for evaluation purposes via a Developer Kit which includes a standard size Wire-Free Electricity Base capable of powering multiple devices, simulated and real mobile devices, adjustable power adapter, various ICs, all relevant technical documentation, an extensive tech support package, and much more.
