CRYSTAL-CLEAR SENSATION IN NEW YORK
Emerging Jewelry Artist Launches Line

NEW YORK (October 2001): Nina Carp, designer of sleek, urban jewelry, is pleased to announce the launch of her new line of jewelry. A trunk show veteran of both Nieman Marcus and Henri Bendel, Ms. Carp plans to expand her line of crystal jewelry, selling them in retail boutiques in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and San Francisco.

"After spending years working with corporate clients and designers, I felt it was time to branch out and develop my own designs," says Carp, who graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology, where she studied jewelry design. "I'm so excited to be able to devote myself to creating new designs and working with new materials - I can't wait to bring my designs to this new market."

The eponymous Nina Carp line radiates around a central theme: a myriad of display of color within a crisp, clean design. Her choker-style necklaces and cuff bracelets are crafted of animal-friendly leather-look materials meticulously hand-set with Swarovski Austrian crystals, and are designed to enhance a variety of colors and textures, including faux snakeskin, alligator hide, lizard skin, ostrich suede and patent leather.

Ms. Carp's designs appeal to women of all ages, from trendy teenagers to fashion-conscious women over fifty. Similarly, Ms. Carp's clients represent a wide range of lifestyles, including urban fashionistas, suburban soccer moms, nightclub crawlers and ladies who lunch. As one seasoned jewelry buyer raved, "I've been in the business for decades, and I've never seen anything like these pieces!"

In addition to the clients she met at her Nieman's and Bendel's trunk shows, New York, Ms. Carp's pieces also been purchased by a number of celebrities on both coasts, including Melody Scott Thomas of The Young and the Restless.
