Jocelyn "Delta of Venus is classic erotica! Steamy reading for any night!"

Have you noticed a certain preoccupation with the stars this month? We're very excited about our improved astrology section and that spills into everything! Even if you've never read your horoscope, we promise you'll get a kick out of this new feature.

We love all things mystical here at MyPleasure--though that could be because 1/4 of us are Scorpios! When we started to talk about astrology and what we planned to do with it, we were pretty much bursting with excitement. We're extremely proud of this feature. It's fun, it's sexy and, yes, we're afraid you may learn something. Barring that, you'll have a good time looking up all of your friends and family (or that hot coworker you've been lusting after) to see how closely they align with their signs.

Regardless of your sun sign, we have another incredible special for you! We're offering a special discount for our Newsletter subscribers only on our new Instinctive Seductions Collection in Peaceful Plumeria scent. This set includes one full size bottle of massage oil and one full size bag of bath crystals. Not only do they smell good; they feel great.

There is so much going on this month! We have new products and more sale items. In addition to astrology fun, we also have a new feature in Education. It's called "Bulletins from the Bedroom" and it's written by our very own Jocelyn Saurini. This month, Jocelyn talks about vibrators and loudness!

Without further ado, we present the MyPleasure.com August Newsletter. However, here's a sneak peek at our September issue: Back to School Fun, an actual interview, more new products -- it's crazy! Enjoy and Happy August!

Q&A With Dr. Gardos
Question:

My boyfriend won't go down on me because he says he hates the smell and taste. What can I do?
Answer:
Unfortunately, some men seem to feel that a vagina should have no taste or smell, or should smell like roses and taste like candy. The reality is that the vagina (just like the penis) has a natural odor. Luckily, many men find this smell arousing -- unfortunately, your boyfriend does not.

What I would NOT recommend is trying to cover up the smell and taste by using deodorant sprays or douching. These don't really do anything other than cause health problems. About the only reasonable thing to do is to engage in good hygiene, wash the external genitals thoroughly and wear underwear that can breathe. You might even suggest that the two of you take a shower together as a foreplay to sex. The odor of the vagina (unless you have a yeast infection or other illness) will be almost completely eliminated just by bathing.

You could also recommend two tips to your boyfriend: First, fill his mouth with his own saliva before going down on you. As his saliva mixes with your natural lubrication, it will taste and smell much less to him; and second, tell him to concentrate on the top part, close to the clitoris.

I would suspect that despite his objections, he is still expecting oral sex from you. You might want to point out to him that you probably did not enjoy fellatio as much when you first tried it. Oral sex can be an acquired taste, but reciprocity is only fair. He wouldn't want you to stop, now would he? :)
